So who is going to this thing? Anyone besides Nintendo?

It'd make up for the chronic lack of Space World.

Nintendo World for All?

Think it'll be bad for Nintendo if they are the only company there? I'm not so sure. It would be a great opportunity to let the public in to play their games.

As long as they segregated the "hardcore" from the "casual." I hear they aren't getting along lately.

I emailed the E for All folk after the no MS announcement and told them that yes while I had agreed to a no-refund policy when I signed up they had agreed to you know deliver a video game convention. This is really disappointing as I was really looking forward to this show previously. Now, I'm no EA fanboy (or Sony for that matter) but come on I at least had the though of "Rockband is coming... Rockband is coming..."

Now what do I get? I got rid my Wii already so I really couldn't care less what Nintendo has on the floor and that's just assuming they even stay involved.

Well, it looks like the industry is doing their best not to waste money on the people who actually buy their games. With the exception of Nintendo, all the major companies are spitting in the eye of the gamer community. "Why would we bother coming to an event for the people?" Maybe they figure we don't actually matter.

Nintendo will show up hell or high water. There profitable and can spend the money to show case there works. There a company thet cares greatly about there custumers and stay commited.

This event was about showing consumers the state of industry and showcasing upcoming games. I think this shows the industry is not fairing well and that publishers are becoming even more concerned with there dwindling bottom line.

Its time to embrace causal games, innovation, and your customers. Nintendo's doing it, anyone care to "jump in" because "this is living".

Interesting turn of events. Perhaps Nintendo will use this con to fill in the hole left from TGS and Spaceworld? I know I'd like an American Spacworld.

It's ironic that it's always Nintendo who gets blamed of "neglecting their audience". But you know that even if Nintendo is the only manufacturer to show up at E for All, people will whine that they "didn't show new games" (even though it isn't the true purpose of E for All) and they there was "too much of a focus on the expanded audience titles" (which is all you ever hear about Nintendo events nowadays anyway).

...and Smash Bros. will be there, and all the reps from other companies and fans of these companies waiting to play the game will be crying for not showing up.

Well, good luck to Nintendo's showing I guess.

:P

Yeah, I can see Nintendo rubbing their hands together in glee now, seeing that they could be the only real contender here. The question would be then, would they be willing to spend some of our hard earned cash that they've got for a really spectacular showing/space?

If i were a conspiracy theorist, i'd say that there is some kind of campaign going on against E for All within the gamer community

I'd also say that wearing a tinfoil hat would prevent satellites from beaming subliminal messages to my brain

Why even bother with this E for All thing? That's why we had PAX. I'm no PA fanboy and even I can see that.
